The Portuguese golfer Ricardo Santos, accompanied by the amateur players Monica Diaz, Jose Antonio Ferreira and José Matías Córdoba Marin, were the winners of the Fred. Olsen Challenge de la Gomera Pro-Am, presenting a card of 25 strokes under par in Tecina Golf.

The second place team has been led by Andrea Pavan with amateur players Fico Siverio, Ramon Siverio y Manuel Pascual 24 under par.

In the third-placed have been the professional amateur Andrew Tampion with Francisca Reyes, Santiago Almeida and Eugene Martin Vonk, less 23.

FRED OLSEN CHALLENGE OF SPAIN

Britain's Matthew Baldwin has won the Fred. Olsen Challenge of Spain in a finale in Tecina Golf that had to be solved in three play-off hole against Frenchman Julien Guerrier. Three Spanish, the three team members of the RFEG ProSpain were in the top 10.

The awards ceremony of the Fred. Olsen Challenge of Spain has been presided by Salvador Garcia Canton, President of the Canary Golf Federation and on behalf of the RFEG; Primos Pusnik , Director of Tecina Golf and Fred.Olsen Assets Area La Gomera., and Miguel Vidaor, Tournament director of the European Tour.
