As mentioned before, there is only one way to get from the base to the top of the mountain, and it is by climbing the northern slope to the base of the rock wall. First, you have to climb a small distance, and then follow the trail to reach the top. Once there, you will find a flat top and spectacular views of the southwest part of La Gomera. If you are travelling with small children, you can also visit the fortress and enjoy its majesty from the ground, they will love it.

And the last but not least, the town of Chipude, located close to the fortress, is an interesting area full of farms with a charming church called La Candelaria. Here, you will also notice several vineyards in the surrounding areas from where it is extract the raw material to elaborate the tasty wines of La Gomera.
