There are 9,500 square meters, divided into 19 plots, which make up the ecological farming space of Eco Finca Tecina. A beautiful view that impresses all our senses that we enjoy both visually and for its taste. It is from this place where we get the vegetables and fruits that are served in the delicious dishes at the hotel. Eco Finca Tecina is also the habitat of a multitude of vegetables and fruits that create beautiful landscapes with different tones and shades of colours.

Every Tuesday at 10.00 you will have the opportunity to visit the Eco Finca and get to know all the secrets of this organic farming. Both gardening enthusiasts and all those who want to discover the wonders of La Gomera will be able to get closer to this natural scenario of the Canary Islands. Eco Finca hides some treasures that not everyone has the opportunity to visit.

Perhaps you have heard of noni, a regenerative fruit that comes from Asia. This fruit resembles custard apples in appearance, and it has a yellow color that turns white at maturity. But what makes this fruit popular is its medicinal properties. In ancient times it was considered a sacred plant that was used by Polynesian healers to treat many diseases.  Although the use of traditional medicine and medicinal plants has decreased in recent years, noni is still famous for its many beneficial effects on health, which improves our body's immune and the fight against infections.

It is a very fragile fruit, which grows appropriately in virgin lands where no pesticides or chemicals are added, that is why our Eco Finca has become the ideal environment to host this fruit. The staff at Eco Finca takes care of the quality of the land, fertilizer types, pest control, and irrigation water. We use permaculture principles to cultivate, based on respect for the natural environment and environmental sustainability. For this reason, no pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers are used.

Curious fruits like noni grow in this fertile land. Besides, it has a high nutritional content that are obtained from the land. The famous Canarian bananas also grow here and you will learn all the curiosities of its cultivation through our guided walk. You will also discover other of the most unknown vegetable gems, the moringa. This tropical tree has been called "the tree of life" for its nutritional properties, its fruit is used to season many dishes, infusions, and teas.

Eco Finca Tecina is a sight to behold. Here you will find a mandala garden, a place where more than 60 different species share space in an impressive design, creating a stunning landscape with different shades of green. In addition to its beauty, the design is functional because this type of agro-ecological crop involves a rotation of different horticultural families, where vegetable nutrients and soil fertility remain over time. The menu consist of natural vegetables and fruits grown at Eco Finca Tecina. All the ingredients in these dishes are handmade. What do you think of choosing between Tartar of mediterranean red tuna slightly spicy with soy sauce, yuyu, ginger, sesame and citrus caviar on? Or a chick pea confit with garlic and cumin cream.
