The Atlantic Ocean omnipresent in the Canary Islands, separates America from Europe and Africa, stretching from the Arctic Ocean in the north to the Southern Ocean in the south and is full of wonders that you can discover in La Gomera, where we offer a variety of activities that you will enjoy this spectacular ocean.

La Gomera always invites to a dip in the refreshing waters of the Atlantic Ocean. With temperatures around 20ºC in winter and 24ºC in summer, the Atlantic Ocean is full of possibilities for a good cool dip more or less depending on the time of year.

The spectacular views of the blue horizon that offers almost anywhere in La Gomera, where its presence is almost constant wherever you look.

In the waters of the Canary Islands there is a great marine biodiversity, we can find marine cold water species with warmer waters, this occurs largely thanks to the so-called "tropical heat front". This front is an area in which contact the cold current of the Canary Islands and the intertropical warmer waters. In summer, it is about south of the western islands and thus benefit the establishment of more tropical fish.

The cold stream of the Canary Islands, from the North Atlantic Ocean, and helps soften the canary climate allowing the presence of northern marine species (northern), with affinity to cooler waters of subtropical species accustomed to warmer waters.

For this reason, the activities of both whale watching and diving in La Gomera offer us an unforgettable experience.

Boat trips, sustainable and respectful with the animals and the environment, which develop in the best place in Europe for its high marine biodiversity.
