Christos Sakorafas

When passion and dedication blends with nature at its purest!

Head Pro at Tecina Golf and member of the PGA of Spain. Grade: Master and Player.

Christos, born 1959, studied engineering in Greece and Germany. In the 1980s, he came as sports instructor in Spain and became professional golf coach in 1993 (the first foreigner to qualify in Spain). He has also worked in clubs in Germany and in Switzerland. His coaching goes from beginners up to professionals, and represents the art of the Spanish school.

TrackMan at the Golf Academy

Feeling and reality, connecting the world of golf

This high-tech radar is the most advanced in its field, essential to know exactly what happens in a swing and in the flight of the ball.

Parameters such as club speed, height  and flight distance, angle of attack, swing path and the position of the club face at impact, can now be measured accurately. Also the TrackMan is an essential tool when making our set of clubs.

Together with the professional a better approach to training can be given. At the end of the session and according to the shots registered, a report is generated and sent to the player by email.

Courses and lessons

Training lessons and courses schedule with the professional of the academy: from 9 am to 5 pm.

COURSE A) INITIATION TO GOLF

This course is designed for inexperienced individuals looking to take up golf. (6 hours over 3 days)

  • Explanation and demonstration of the use of golf clubs, learning the basics and practising your swing.
  • Short game. Basics of putting, chipping, pitching and bunker shots. 
  • Partial completion of the programme on the golf course, where the techniques learned in previous days are put into practice.

The Initiation to Golf course costs €180/person. 
Minimum: 3 people / Maximum: 6 people.

COURSE B) IMPROVE YOUR GAME

Do you want to improve your game?

This course is designed for players with some experience who want to raise their game. It includes a 9-hole green fee allowing students to put what they learn into practice on our course unaccompanied by the pro.

  • Video analysis to study swing and set individual goals.
  • The short game is an important part of this course, together with visualisation and playing strategies.
  • Special attention to strokes for uneven lies in both long and short games.

The Improve Your Game course costs €230/person.

Minimum: 3 people / Maximum: 6 people.

We offer different options for golf lessons with our pro. Whether you come alone or accompanied, the aim is to learn and enjoy the game. 

  • Lessons in the practice area: 
    50 minutes (1 person) €45
    50 minutes (2 people): €75
  • Lessons on the golf course (green fee and buggy included):
    3 hours (1 person) €120
    3 hours (2 people): €195
