Ancient forests, vertical cliffs overlooking a pure and crystalline ocean, black sand beaches, villages full of legends and traditions and even a unique language declared Intangible Heritage by UNESCO. Discover all that our magical island has to offer through countless excursions in La Gomera.

The magic of this island is a gift for all those who come to get to know it. You can visit and enjoy it 365 days a year with an eternal spring of sunshine and mild temperatures.

The best way to get to know our island is through organised excursions in La Gomera or by planning your own trip. However, there are many places that you should not miss and today we will show them to you.

Excursion through Los Órganos

One of the most impressive landscapes that you will find in La Gomera can be found on the northwest coast of the town of Vallehermoso: the Natural Monument of Los Órganos. It is a volcanic lava cliff shaped like organ pipes that rises from the depths of the Atlantic Ocean. It reaches a height of 80 meters and is in an area that is impossible to access by land, so it can only be viewed from the sea on boat excursions.

Whale watching in La Gomera

Without leaving the marine environment, La Gomera is a special spot for whale-watching lovers. Up to twenty different species can be found on the La Gomera coast. Specifically, the maritime corridor between Tenerife and La Gomera is the first certified pilot whale heritage site in Europe, which is why Tenerife-La Gomera Whale Heritage Site has become an outstanding destination for whale watching.

Hiking in Garajonay National Park

One of the main attractions of La Gomera is in the Garajonay National Park. Here you will find legendary laurel forests, evergreen forests, laurel trees, ferns and its famous horizontal rain. Walking through it is one of the best experiences you can have on our island. With more than 600 kilometres of trails you will always walk surrounded by a unique environment, where nature takes on a special role.

We look forward to seeing you at Hotel Jardín Tecina to help you enjoy an experience in La Gomera that is unique and different by nature.
